The decided method manufacturing the bottle openers on the CNC was to nest them in a 4in x 1ft stock segment pictured below. This will allow 8 parts to be made per run, and only requires one operation on the CNC.
Below is the setup that will be required in the CNC machine. All that is required is a vise and a work stop. Not requiring a special set up was a goal to help make the process easy for less experienced students to run.
These jaws will simplify the process by having a fixed height in the machine that the stock will be at, as well as removing the need for parallel bars.
